So, what has been going with us lately?
Vivian recently turned 9 months! We gave her this tree stacker for her birthday but discovered the dark green color bleeds a little so we also let her have a flower stacker that doesn’t bleed. I’m all for handmade toys, but this one was slightly disappointing. She currently has 5 teeth growing in, rolling everywhere, sorta crawling, and loves pulling my face to hers so she can kiss me.
Two weeks ago I made this playscape for her. Until she’s old enough to play with it, its being used on our nature table. I covered it lightly with white wool for snow and moved what was on our nature table onto the playscape. I also put white wool on the tree. It was inspired by seasonal trees I found on etsy where you can change the wool color on the tree from white for winter, green for spring and summer, and orange for autumn.

Vivian’s too funny. I made strawberry shortcakes for dessert one night. Well, Vivian’s was just mashed up strawberries on a biscuit. She really liked hers.
She also really likes crepes. Curtiss and I wanted crepes with mango ice cream like we had back in California. I gave Vivian a plain one and she must’ve liked it because she held it onto her face like this for a couple of minutes.
Whenever we talk about what we miss about back home, Curtiss always mentions turon. So I made him some with caramel sauce. Sorry Vivian, you can’t have some of these. I was so sad that they don’t sell jackfruit here because that’s my favorite part of turon!
While I was cooking dinner one night, I heard laughing from Vivian’s playroom. I walked in and saw them being so silly. Of course, they made me put the panda on my head next but I didn’t really want a picture.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Michelle, Curtiss, and Vivian
